Key Highlights from the Game

The Seahawks' performance was highlighted by several standout individual efforts despite the loss. Punter Michael Dickson showcased his skill with an impressive average of 54 yards across four punts, pinning two inside the 20-yard line and achieving a long punt of 62 yards. On defense, cornerback Tre Brown and linebacker Jerome Baker were active throughout the game, contributing significantly to limiting the opposition's advance. Brown matched his defensive prowess with four tackles, while Baker added three tackles of his own and managed to record one tackle for loss among his seven combined tackles.

On offense, quarterback Geno Smith threw for an impressive total of 312 yards on a completion rate of nearly 58 percent. However, Smith's efforts were marred by two interceptions that ultimately hindered Seattle's scoring opportunities. Wide receiver Tyler Lockett emerged as one of Smith's primary targets, securing four receptions for a total of 65 yards and scoring one touchdown - showcasing their attempt to penetrate San Francisco's defense.

Special Teams and Penalties

The special teams unit had its moments as well, particularly through Jason Myers who successfully converted all three extra-point attempts alongside nailing a field goal from within the twenty-nine-yard range - maintaining his perfect record for this game.

Penalties played a notable role in shaping the game's outcome as well; Seattle incurred nine penalties totaling sixty-nine penalty yards which contributed to stalling their momentum at critical junctures during play.
