Seattle Seahawks' Tactical Play Falls Short Against Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field

Game Highlights


The game was marked by intense moments and strategic plays from both teams. The Seattle Seahawks showcased their offensive skills with quarterback Geno Smith throwing for 363 yards and achieving three touchdowns but was intercepted three times. Wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba had an outstanding performance with seven receptions for a total of 180 yards and two touchdowns, making him one of the game's most impactful players.


On defense, Devon Witherspoon stood out for his efforts by forcing a fumble and contributing four tackles along with three assists. His defensive prowess was crucial in several key moments throughout the match. Additionally, Riq Woolen made significant contributions to the defense by intercepting one pass and defending two more.

The special teams also had notable performances; Michael Dickson punted seven times for an impressive total of 330 yards helping to position the Rams unfavorably on several occasions.


Looking Ahead


Despite their best efforts and some standout individual performances, penalties proved costly for Seattle as they accumulated 95 penalty yards over twelve infractions which impacted their momentum significantly during crucial phases of the game.
