Defensive Dominance

The Seattle defense was relentless throughout the game, amassing an impressive total of seven sacks and ten tackles for loss. Leonard Williams led this charge with two sacks and three tackles for loss, contributing significantly to his team's success on defense. Additionally, Uchenna Nwosu made his presence felt by securing another sack and adding a tackle for loss, further stifling any offensive momentum from the Bears.

Riq Woolen stood out in the secondary by intercepting a pass and defending another, halting key drives and showcasing his ball-hawking skills. The collective effort from Seattle's defense limited Chicago's scoring opportunities and played a crucial role in securing this victory.

Offensive Efforts

On offense, Geno Smith managed to complete 74 percent of his passes for 160 yards despite being sacked three times. His ability to maintain composure under pressure was notable as he distributed passes efficiently among his receivers. DK Metcalf was one such beneficiary, leading with 42 receiving yards on three receptions which included a long catch of 23 yards.

The ground game saw contributions from Kenny McIntosh and Zach Charbonnet who combined for over 100 rushing yards between them. McIntosh’s explosive runs were particularly effective as he averaged over six yards per carry on seven attempts.

Special Teams Contributions

Jason Myers contributed all of Seattle’s points through field goals including one from an impressive distance of 50 yards out. His perfect kicking performance underlined how even in tight defensive battles special teams can make all the difference.
