The Defensive Wall

The Buccaneers' defense was nothing short of spectacular, amassing six sacks for a loss of 44 yards and forcing two fumbles without conceding any turnovers. Lavonte David led the charge with two sacks, three assists, five tackles, one forced fumble, and a pass defended. His performance epitomized the relentless pressure Tampa Bay exerted on Philadelphia throughout the game. Vita Vea also made significant contributions with one sack, adding to his season tally while ensuring the Eagles' offense never found its rhythm.

Offensive Firepower

On offense, Baker Mayfield's arm was pivotal in dissecting Philadelphia's defense. He threw for 347 yards with an impressive completion rate of 64 percent and connected for two touchdowns without throwing an interception. His longest pass stretched 30 yards downfield as he consistently found gaps in the Eagles' secondary.

The ground game complemented Mayfield’s aerial assault effectively. Bucky Irving emerged as a key player by rushing for 49 yards on ten attempts and scoring once; his performance underscored by averaging five yards per carry which matched Rachaad White’s output from an identical number of carries though White did not find himself in the end zone.

In receiving corps Mike Evans stood out with eight receptions totaling 94 yards including one touchdown which highlighted his importance to Tampa Bay's offensive strategy alongside Chris Godwin who contributed significantly with six receptions for 69 yards proving once again why they are considered among top receivers in league.
