First Quarter

The game began with both teams testing each other's defenses. The Buccaneers' quarterback, Baker Mayfield, showcased his precision early on by connecting for a touchdown pass to Emeka Egbuka. This set the tone for what would be an impressive performance from Mayfield throughout the game.

Second Quarter

As the second quarter unfolded, Tampa Bay's defense stepped up significantly. Haason Reddick recorded a crucial sack that pushed back Atlanta's offense and limited their scoring opportunities. Meanwhile, Chase McLaughlin added to Tampa Bay's lead with a successful field goal attempt from 48 yards out.

Third Quarter

In the third quarter, Atlanta fought back valiantly as they managed to close in on Tampa Bay’s lead. However, Jamel Dean was instrumental in thwarting several of ATL’s advances by defending three passes effectively. Despite this pressure from Atlanta, Mayfield found Mike Evans multiple times downfield to keep drives alive and maintain momentum for the Bucs.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter saw both teams trading blows as they vied for control of the game. A pivotal moment came when Antoine Winfield Jr., known for his defensive prowess, broke up another potential scoring play by ATL which could have turned tides against Tampa Bay. Ultimately it was Baker Mayfield’s third touchdown pass that sealed victory for Pewter Pirates.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers post-match stats reveal an efficient passing attack led by Baker Mayfield who threw three touchdowns without any interceptions and completed 53 percent of his passes over 167 yards.
