Clash at Nissan Stadium: Tennessee Titans to Host New York Giants

As the Tennessee Titans gear up to host the New York Giants at Nissan Stadium, fans are looking forward to what promises to be a riveting encounter. The Titans have shown a mixed bag of performances in their preseason games, but there's enough data suggesting that they could very well dominate the upcoming game against the Giants.

The Titans' last home game on August 27 against the Arizona Cardinals ended with a narrow victory of 26-23. The offense managed an average gain of 4.9 yards per play and accumulated a total of 314 yards. Their rushing attack was particularly impressive, averaging 6 yards per carry and scoring twice on the ground. This kind of ground dominance is something they'll look to replicate against the Giants.

Defensively, Tennessee showed resilience by recording one sack and five quarterback hits while also forcing one fumble during that game. However, their pass defense allowed a completion percentage of over 60 percent and will need tightening up if they wish to contain the Giants' passing threat.

In contrast, when facing off against Tampa Bay Buccaneers on August 20 at home, the Titans won with a more comfortable scoreline of 13-3. Their defense was formidable in this outing with four sacks and ten passes defended while forcing four fumbles – an aspect that could prove crucial in disrupting New York's offensive rhythm.

However, it wasn't all smooth sailing for Tennessee; during their visit to Baltimore Ravens on August 11 where they lost with a scoreline of 23-10, turnovers were an issue as they gave away three including two interceptions thrown by their quarterbacks which is something that needs immediate attention before facing NYG's defense.

The upcoming match-up presents an opportunity for TEN’s offense led by Ryan Tannehill or whoever starts under center - considering pre-season rotations - to establish early momentum through both air and ground attacks while maintaining ball security throughout all four quarters.

Special teams also seem promising for TEN; field goal kicking has been perfect across previous games which might come handy in what could turn out as another close contest between these two teams.

With all eyes set on September 11th at Nissan Stadium where kickoff is scheduled for 3:25 PM local time (8:25 PM GMT), fans can catch this anticipated NFL showdown live on FOX network. It’s time for TEN’s players to step up big time if they want to start their regular season campaign positively by overcoming NYG right from week one!
