Titans Tame Dolphins in Miami Gardens, Marching to a 31-12 Victory

In a pivotal Week 4 matchup, the Tennessee Titans improved their season record to 1-3 after securing a commanding 31-12 win over the Miami Dolphins. The game, held at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, saw the Titans dominate on both sides of the ball, leaving the Dolphins with an identical record of 1-3.

Tennessee's Ground and Air Assault


The Titans' offense was firing on all cylinders, amassing a total of 244 yards. The ground game proved particularly effective as they rushed for 142 yards across 40 attempts. Tony Pollard led the charge with an impressive performance that included rushing for 88 yards on 22 carries and scoring one touchdown. Tyjae Spears also contributed significantly with a touchdown and 39 rushing yards on his own.


Through the air, Mason Rudolph and Will Levis combined for a passing total of 110 yards. Despite facing pressure from the Dolphins' defense that resulted in one sack and an interception thrown by Levis, Rudolph managed to maintain composure and distribute effectively when needed.

Defensive Dominance


On defense, Tennessee showcased their prowess by limiting Miami to just twelve points throughout the game. The defensive unit recorded two sacks for a loss of eighteen yards and forced five three-and-outs against their opponents. Harold Landry III stood out with one sack contributing to this effort while Amani Hooker made his presence known in the secondary by defending one pass.


Special teams were not left behind in contributing to this victory; Nick Folk was perfect on field goal attempts hitting all five tries including three from beyond fifty yards showcasing exceptional accuracy and power.
