Tennessee Titans Outmaneuvered by Los Angeles Chargers in Week 10 Face-off

The Tennessee Titans, with a 2-7 record, faced off against the Los Angeles Chargers, who improved to 6-3 following the game. The final scoreboard read 27-17 in favor of the home team at SoFi Stadium.

Game Highlights


The Titans' performance showcased a mix of promising plays and areas needing improvement. Quarterback Will Levis completed an impressive 78 percent of his pass attempts, throwing for two touchdowns and accumulating 175 yards through the air. His longest touchdown pass stretched for 41 yards, contributing significantly to his passer rating of 127.4.


On the ground, running back Tyjae Spears led with an average of seven yards per carry on his way to a total of 47 rushing yards. Tony Pollard also contributed with nine carries for 44 yards, demonstrating the team's effective running game which averaged six yards per attempt overall.

Punter Ryan Stonehouse had a busy day with four punts totaling 214 yards and managing to place three inside the opponent's twenty-yard line. This special teams effort underscored one aspect where Tennessee excelled during this matchup.


Defensive Efforts


Defensively, linebacker Jack Gibbens stood out by leading his team with ten tackles and five assists but without any sacks or forced fumbles from him or any other Titan player. The defense managed three passes defended but failed to secure any interceptions against Los Angeles' offense.

Penalties were another area that hurt Tennessee's chances; they accumulated nine penalties costing them a total of sixty-eight penalty yards which hindered their momentum at crucial times during the game.
