The Tennessee Titans faced a challenging game against the San Francisco 49ers at Levi's Stadium, resulting in a 37-24 loss. This outcome brought the Titans to a record of 2-12, while the Niners improved to 10-4. The game was marked by significant plays and strategic maneuvers from both teams.

First Quarter

The opening quarter saw the Two-Tone Blue struggling to contain the Niners' offensive prowess. Despite their efforts, the Titans' defense allowed early points that set the tone for San Francisco's momentum. Jeffery Simmons stood out with his defensive play, recording a sack and forcing a fumble that was recovered by Kaiir Elam.

Second Quarter

In this period, Cam Ward led Tennessee’s offense with precision passing, completing 18 of his 29 attempts for 170 yards and securing two touchdowns without any interceptions. Tony Pollard contributed significantly on the ground with a total of 104 rushing yards and one touchdown. However, penalties plagued their progress as they accumulated seven penalties for a total of 57 yards.

Third Quarter

As halftime concluded, both teams returned with renewed vigor. The Titans managed to narrow their deficit slightly through effective rushing plays led by Tyjae Spears who averaged over eleven yards per carry on three attempts. Yet again, defensive lapses allowed San Francisco to extend their lead further.

Fourth Quarter

The final quarter highlighted what went wrong for Tennessee Titans as they struggled defensively against an aggressive Niners offense that capitalized on every opportunity presented. Despite Amani Hooker’s solid performance in defense with five tackles and one pass defended, it wasn't enough to turn things around completely.

Reflecting on post-game thoughts Tennessee Titans might consider adjustments in defensive strategies moving forward as they prepare for upcoming matches including facing Kansas City Chiefs at Nissan Stadium scheduled for December 21st at 1:00 PM EDT broadcasted live via CBS network.
