In an evenly matched contest, the Ducks displayed resilience but fell short against the Coyotes. The visitors managed to land 33 shots on goal throughout the game but were only able to convert one during a powerplay opportunity. Despite this effort, their shooting percentage was just three percent for the night. On special teams, they capitalized once out of three powerplay chances and successfully blocked 17 shots from their opponents.

The Ducks' goaltender had a busy night between the pipes with 25 saves on 27 shots for a save percentage of approximately 93 percent. However, it wasn't enough to secure victory as two pucks found their way past him. In contrast, while shorthanded situations proved challenging with one goal conceded out of eight shots faced.

On offense, Anaheim's players worked hard to create scoring opportunities but struggled in faceoff circles winning only about 41 percent of all faceoffs taken and just over half while shorthanded. Physicality was evident as they dished out an impressive total of 32 hits during play.

The home team Arizona Coyotes showed strong performance on both ends of the ice with two goals scored and an excellent save percentage close to 97 percent from their goaltender who made crucial saves among his total count of 32 stops. Their powerplay unit was effective as well scoring once from five opportunities given.
