Ducks Seek Redemption Against Kraken After Recent Stumbles

As the Anaheim Ducks prepare to face off against the Seattle Kraken at Climate Pledge Arena, fans are eager to see if their team can turn the tide after a series of challenging games. The Ducks have been struggling to find their rhythm, as evidenced by their recent performances.

In their last game against the Winnipeg Jets, Anaheim was unable to score, resulting in a 6-0 defeat. Their offense struggled throughout the game with a shooting percentage of zero and only 21 shots on goal. Faceoffs were also an area of concern as they won just 26 percent of them.

The previous encounter with the Minnesota Wild wasn't much better for Anaheim's scoring efforts. Despite putting up 16 shots and winning nearly half of their faceoffs, they failed to capitalize on any opportunities and lost with a final score of 2-0.

Looking further back at their game against the Chicago Blackhawks, there was some offensive output from Anaheim as they managed two goals. However, defensive lapses allowed seven goals against them on equal shot attempts (29), highlighting areas that need tightening up before facing Seattle.

The upcoming match presents an opportunity for redemption for Anaheim. To succeed against Seattle Kraken's defense, which has shown resilience in past games, Ducks' forwards will need to be more clinical in front of goal while also improving puck possession during faceoffs.

Fans can expect an intense battle as both teams vie for victory at Climate Pledge Arena. The Ducks will need to showcase improved defense and take advantage of powerplay opportunities if they hope to leave Seattle with a win.

The game is scheduled for March 26th at 7:00 PM PT and can be watched live on ESPN+, BSSC, BSSD or ROOT Sports NW networks.
