Ducks' Defensive Efforts and Goaltending Highlight

Despite the loss, his efforts between the pipes were crucial in keeping the game competitive and taking it to overtime. The Ducks' defense also played a significant role, blocking 26 shots throughout the game. However, their offense struggled to find the back of the net, managing only one goal from Alex Killorn on two shots with a shooting accuracy of 50 percent.

On special teams, Anaheim had two powerplay opportunities but failed to capitalize on either. Their penalty kill was effective though, as they did not concede any goals while shorthanded despite facing five shots.
