Ducks Dominate on Home Ice

The Anaheim Ducks showcased their offensive capabilities early on, scoring two goals in the first period and adding three more in the second. Their performance was underpinned by a solid shooting percentage of 14 percent from 35 shots on goal, demonstrating their efficiency in converting opportunities into points. The powerplay unit contributed significantly to this success, managing to score one goal from six shots during their two powerplay opportunities.

Mason McTavish stood out for the Ducks with two goals from four shots, displaying his sharpshooting skills and contributing crucially to his team's victory. Trevor Zegras also made significant contributions with one goal and one assist, proving instrumental in driving forward the team's offensive play. Predators Struggle Despite Efforts

On the other side of the rink, the Nashville Predators managed to put up a fight despite falling short of a win. They outshot the Ducks with 43 attempts but were only able to convert these into two goals due to an outstanding performance by Anaheim's goaltender who saved 41 shots. The Predators had three powerplay chances but failed to capitalize on any of them.

Their even-strength play resulted in both goals scored during this matchup; however, it wasn't enough against a determined Ducks defense that blocked 25 shots throughout the game.
