Cutter Gauthier was undoubtedly the star of the night for the Anaheim Ducks, earning him the first star of the game. His performance was pivotal in securing this win for his team. Gauthier's contribution included scoring one of the crucial goals during overtime, showcasing his ability to perform under pressure.

On defense and between pipes, goaltender Ville Husso had an outstanding night with 36 saves on 39 shots against him. His remarkable save percentage demonstrated his critical role in this tight matchup against a formidable opponent.


Flames' Efforts


The Calgary Flames showed resilience and skill throughout regulation time by managing to score three goals against Husso. Matt Coronato stood out from their lineup as he earned himself a spot among the stars of this match due to his performance on ice.

Despite their efforts and leading in shots with a total of 39 attempts compared to Anaheim's 23, Calgary could not capitalize enough on their opportunities including six powerplay chances which they failed to convert into goals.
