First Period


The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses with no goals scored by either side. Third Period


As play resumed in the third period, both teams fought hard for control. However, it was Ottawa who managed to break through once more and secure another goal that ultimately decided the game. Despite several attempts from players like Chris Kreider and Olen Zellweger—who was named as one of the game's stars—the Ducks could not find an equalizer before time expired.


Anaheim's goaltender Petr Mrazek made 22 saves throughout this intense contest but faced challenges from Ottawa's persistent offense which included standout performances from Drake Batherson and Shane Pinto.
