First Period

The game began with an impressive start for the Ducks as they took control early on. Ryan Strome and Chris Kreider were pivotal in this period, contributing significantly to Anaheim's offensive surge. Kreider found the back of the net with precision, showcasing his shooting prowess from previous games where he had a perfect shooting percentage. The Ducks capitalized on their chances and ended the first period leading 3-1.

Second Period

However, momentum shifted dramatically in favor of the Blackhawks during the second period. Despite Anaheim's efforts to maintain their lead, Chicago's powerplay proved too strong to handle. Connor Bedard was instrumental for Chicago, scoring one of his two goals during this period and assisting another by Ryan Greene. The Hawks managed to level up with two goals in this segment while keeping Anaheim scoreless.
