Clash at Mullett Arena: Arizona Coyotes Host Nashville Predators

As the Arizona Coyotes prepare to face off against the Nashville Predators at Mullett Arena, fans are bracing for what promises to be a riveting encounter. The Coyotes, coming off a mixed bag of recent performances, have shown that they can be unpredictable on the ice.

In their last game on December 24 against the Colorado Avalanche, the Coyotes struggled significantly. With only 19 hits and a shooting percentage of just 4 percent, they managed to score only once from 25 shots while conceding four goals. Their faceoff win percentage was also less than stellar at 43 percent. This lackluster performance resulted in a disappointing loss with a final score of 1-4.

However, it's not all doom and gloom for ARI fans. Just two days earlier on December 22 against the San Jose Sharks, the team demonstrated their offensive prowess by netting five goals from an impressive shooting percentage of nearly 17 percent and winning with a final score of 5-2. They also showed improvement in faceoffs with a win rate over half at approximately 51 percent.

The most telling performance came during their home game on December 20 against the Ottawa Senators where they secured victory in front of their own crowd with four goals scored and an overall positive plus-minus rating. The Coyotes showcased resilience by bouncing back from an early three-goal deficit to win that game by one point.

Looking ahead to their upcoming match-up against Nashville Predators, ARI will need to capitalize on these moments of brilliance if they want to secure another victory at home. Their ability to rally from behind and find ways to win is something that could unsettle any opponent including NSH.

The Predators should not be underestimated though; as always in hockey, any team can take control if given enough space and opportunity on ice. It will be crucial for ARI's defense to step up and goaltending must remain solid throughout all periods.

Fans are eager for this upcoming battle which is set for January 20th at Mullett Arena in Tempe, AZ starting at an evening puck drop time scheduled for local fans' convenience. Those unable or unwilling to brave potential chilly temperatures can catch every play live through various broadcast networks including ESPN+ online nationally or BSSO channel number:646-1 locally away or SCRIPPS TV locally home ensuring no one misses out on what is sure shaping up as another thrilling chapter in this NHL season.
