Coyotes Set to Clash with Lightning at Amalie Arena

As the Arizona Coyotes prepare to face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning at Amalie Arena, fans are anticipating an exciting game. The Coyotes have shown a mixed bag of performances in their recent outings, which could make for an unpredictable match.

In their last three games, the Coyotes have experienced both highs and lows. A tough loss against the Colorado Avalanche saw them scoring just once and conceding four goals. Despite registering 25 shots on goal and a powerplay goal, they struggled with a shooting percentage of only four percent and lost the faceoff battle, winning just 43 percent of draws.

However, they bounced back in their next game against the San Jose Sharks with an impressive five goals from 30 shots – showcasing a significant improvement in shooting accuracy with a sixteen percent success rate. Their goaltending was also solid, saving 93 percent of shots faced.

Their most recent home game brought another victory when they overcame the Ottawa Senators by scoring four times from 38 attempts on goal. They were stronger in faceoffs too, winning over half of them.

While these results show some inconsistency in performance levels for Arizona, there's potential for them to capitalize on their offensive capabilities as seen against San Jose and Ottawa. However, maintaining that level will be crucial if they wish to succeed against Tampa Bay Lightning's formidable lineup.

Fans can expect Arizona to focus on improving their defensive play while continuing to leverage any powerplay opportunities – areas that have been both strengths and weaknesses in past games.

The upcoming NHL game is scheduled for January 26th at Amalie Arena in Tampa. Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ or local networks BSSUN and SCRIPPS depending on their location.
