Coyotes Set to Battle Flyers at Wells Fargo Center in Mid-February Showdown

As the Arizona Coyotes prepare to face off against the Philadelphia Flyers at the Wells Fargo Center, fans are cautiously optimistic despite a recent rough patch. The Coyotes' performance has been a rollercoaster, but there's reason to believe they can turn things around when they hit the ice on February 13.

In their last outing on December 24 against the Colorado Avalanche, ARI struggled significantly. With only one goal scored and a shooting percentage of just four percent, it was clear that offensive opportunities were not being capitalized upon. The team also lost more faceoffs than they won and had a minus-20 plus-minus rating, which is indicative of their defensive woes during that game. However, it's important to note that even with these struggles, ARI managed to put up 25 shots on goal and secured one powerplay goal out of three opportunities.

Contrastingly, in an earlier game against the San Jose Sharks on December 22, ARI showcased what they're capable of when things click. Scoring five goals with an impressive shooting percentage of seventeen percent demonstrated their offensive prowess. They also showed improvement in faceoffs with a win percentage over fifty percent and displayed strong special teams play by capitalizing on one out of three powerplays.

The most encouraging data comes from their home victory over the Ottawa Senators on December 20 where ARI scored four goals from thirty-eight shots – translating into a ten percent shooting success rate – while maintaining discipline by only serving six penalty minutes throughout the match.

Looking ahead to their matchup with PHI, it's crucial for ARI to replicate this disciplined approach while sharpening their offense if they want to secure another win away from home. The Flyers will be no easy opponent; however, if Arizona can control faceoffs as they did against San Jose and maintain strong goaltending like in their win over Ottawa – where only three goals were allowed from twenty-two shots – there is potential for success.

The upcoming game promises excitement as both teams will be eager for victory at Wells Fargo Center. Fans can catch all the action live nationally via ESPN+ or locally through NBCS-PH for Philadelphia viewers and SCRIPPS for those cheering from Arizona territory. Puck drop is scheduled for February 13; don't miss what could be a pivotal moment in Arizona Coyotes' season as they strive towards playoff contention.
