Coyotes Howl for Redemption at Bell Centre Against Canadiens

As the Arizona Coyotes prepare to face off against the Montreal Canadiens at the iconic Bell Centre, fans are eager to see if their team can bounce back from recent performances. The upcoming clash, scheduled for February 28th, promises to be an intriguing encounter.

The Coyotes have had a challenging stretch in their last few games. Despite a valiant effort, they suffered a loss against the Carolina Hurricanes with a final score of 5-1. The statistics reveal some areas of concern; notably, their shooting percentage was just three percent and they won only 25 percent of faceoffs. Additionally, they were unable to capitalize on any of their four powerplay opportunities.

Another tough game saw them pitted against the Minnesota Wild where they managed only one goal from 26 shots and again struggled in powerplays without scoring despite having three chances. Their faceoff win rate stood at an even fifty percent but it wasn't enough to secure victory as they lost by two goals.

However, not all recent memories are bitter for the Coyotes; before these defeats, they secured a win with three goals from just 23 shots against Philadelphia Flyers – showcasing efficiency with a thirteen percent shooting success rate. Yet this victory was overshadowed by conceding five goals and winning less than half of their faceoffs.

As we look ahead to the game at Bell Centre, it's clear that Arizona must sharpen its offensive edge while also tightening up defensively if they wish to leave Montreal with points in hand. Improving on special teams will be crucial; converting powerplay opportunities into goals could be decisive in what is expected to be a tightly contested match-up.

Fans can catch all the action live on ESPN+ or SCRIPPS as both teams take to the ice in Canada's hockey heartland – where every check echoes with history and every goal can become legend.

Remember: February 28th is when we'll see if the Coyotes can turn trends around and howl victoriously under Montreal's bright lights.
