Arizona Coyotes Set to Challenge New Jersey Devils in Desert Duel

As the Arizona Coyotes prepare to face off against the New Jersey Devils at Mullett Arena, fans are buzzing with anticipation for what promises to be a thrilling encounter. The Coyotes, coming off a string of performances that have showcased their tenacity and skill, are poised to take on their Eastern Conference rivals with confidence.

In their recent game on March 3rd against the Washington Capitals, the Coyotes emerged victorious with an impressive 5-2 win. Their offense was firing on all cylinders as they managed to net five goals from just 28 shots, translating into an outstanding shooting percentage of 18 percent. The powerplay unit proved lethal as well, converting two out of six opportunities. This special teams prowess could be a decisive factor against the Devils.

The defensive side was equally robust for Arizona in that game; they blocked a total of 26 shots and won over half of their faceoffs. Goaltending was also top-notch with the goalie saving all but two of the 26 shots faced – a perfect recipe for success if replicated in the upcoming match.

However, it's not just one game that has shown what this team is capable of. On March 2nd against Ottawa Senators, ARI displayed resilience by securing another win with five goals scored and showcasing strong goaltending once again by saving 34 out of 37 shots.

But it hasn't been all smooth sailing; there was a stumble along the way when they faced Toronto Maple Leafs on March 1st where they lost narrowly by two points despite putting up more hits and blocking more attempts than their opponents.

The New Jersey Devils will certainly pose challenges; however, based on recent performances and statistics from past games – particularly those highlighting ARI's ability to capitalize on powerplays and maintain solid defense – there is reason for optimism among Coyote fans.

Looking ahead at strategies for victory: maintaining pressure during powerplays will be crucial as well as continuing strong defensive play which includes shot-blocking and effective goaltending that has characterized recent wins. Winning faceoffs will also remain key in controlling game tempo against NJ.

As we count down towards puck drop scheduled for March 16th at Mullett Arena in Tempe at precisely 4:00 PM local time (9:00 PM GMT), fans can catch this desert duel live through various broadcast networks including ESPN+ online or MSGSN and SCRIPPS TV channels. With both teams eager to claim dominance on ice, this matchup is not one to miss!
