Can Arizona Coyotes Ice the Dallas Stars' Momentum at Mullett Arena?

As the Arizona Coyotes prepare to face off against the Dallas Stars, fans are eager to see if their team can maintain the momentum from a recent victory. The Coyotes have shown flashes of brilliance this season, and with their latest performance at Mullett Arena, they have a chance to prove that their winning ways are more than just a fluke.

In their last game on March 9th against the Detroit Red Wings, ARI demonstrated what they're capable of when everything clicks. With an impressive 17 percent shooting accuracy and a shutout from their goaltender who saved all 28 shots, it's clear that when they find their rhythm, they can be formidable opponents. Their powerplay capitalized once out of two opportunities and defensively, they were solid with an even-strength goal differential of +15.

However, consistency has been an issue for ARI throughout the season. This was evident in their game on March 10th against the Chicago Blackhawks where despite scoring four goals and having a shooting percentage of 11 percent, defensive lapses led them to concede seven goals. Similarly, in another encounter on March 13th with Minnesota Wild as opponents, ARI managed only one goal from 22 shots while letting in four goals.

The upcoming match presents an opportunity for ARI to build upon its strengths and address its weaknesses. The key will be maintaining offensive pressure while tightening up defensively to avoid giving away easy goals. The faceoff win percentage needs improvement; winning only 38 percent against Wild is not going to cut it if they want possession and control over the game's pace.

DAL comes into this matchup with confidence but knowing that playing at Mullett Arena is no easy task for visiting teams. They'll need to be wary of ARI's ability to strike quickly on offense but will also look to exploit any defensive frailties that have plagued ARI recently.
