Despite their loss, several Boston Bruins players put forth commendable efforts. Goalie Jeremy Swayman faced an onslaught but managed to save 35 shots out of 39 attempts against him. His performance under pressure was noteworthy despite being credited with the loss.


In terms of physicality and defensive play, Mark Kastelic led his team with six hits followed closely by Elias Lindholm who also made significant contributions defensively along with five hits to his name. Charlie McAvoy stood out on defense for Boston as well; despite not contributing points or assists, he led his team in takeaways and showcased resilience throughout his time on ice.
