First Period


The opening period saw the Tampa Bay Lightning take an early lead by scoring twice. The Bolts capitalized on their chances and maintained pressure on the B’s defense. Despite having more shots on goal, Boston was unable to find the back of the net in this period.


Second Period


In a spirited comeback attempt during the second period, Boston managed to level things up by scoring three goals. Pavel Zacha played a pivotal role for the B’s by contributing two assists and showcasing his playmaking abilities. David Pastrnak also made his presence felt with an assist that helped energize his team.

Third Period


As both teams entered into what would be a decisive third period, it was evident that defensive strategies were being prioritized. However, neither team could break through until Anthony Cirelli from Tampa Bay emerged as a key player for his side once again by assisting in maintaining their lead.
