Boston Bruins Sink Kraken with Swayman's Stellar Saves at TD Garden

The Boston Bruins emerged victorious against the Seattle Kraken with a 4-2 win, improving their record to 27-19-2. The Kraken, now standing at 21-16-9, struggled to overcome the B’s defense. The game unfolded in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 17,850 at TD Garden.

First Period


The Bruins set the tone early in the first period with two goals. David Pastrnak opened the scoring for Boston, showcasing his offensive prowess. Mark Kastelic followed up with another goal, giving the B’s a strong start and putting pressure on Seattle's defense.


Second Period


In the second period, both teams found opportunities to score. The Kraken managed to get on the board with a powerplay goal but were quickly countered by Boston's response through Pavel Zacha's assist that led to another goal for the home team.

Third Period


The final period saw Jeremy Swayman shine as he made crucial saves that kept Seattle from closing in on their lead. Despite an aggressive push from Seattle resulting in one more goal for them, Charlie McAvoy ensured Boston maintained control by assisting Marat Khusnutdinov’s decisive shot into an empty net.


This encounter highlighted key moments such as Swayman's impressive goaltending and McAvoy's defensive contributions which were pivotal in securing this win for Boston.
