Bruins' Efforts Fall Short


Despite taking an early lead by scoring two goals in the first period and adding another in the second, The Boston Bruins could not maintain their momentum against The Sabres' aggressive gameplay. Their goaltender faced a tough night against The Sabres' relentless offense but managed to save seventeen out of twenty shots directed at him.


The Bruins attempted to turn things around with their power play opportunities but only succeeded once out of two attempts. Their efforts were further hampered by giving away thirteen times compared to eighteen giveaways by The Sabres.
