The Calgary Flames came out strong in the first period with an early goal that set the tone for the game. They maintained their momentum into the second period by adding another goal to their tally. However, it was in the third period where they truly took control of the game by scoring four goals, two of which were empty-netters that sealed their victory.

The team's statistics were impressive across various aspects of play. The Flames had a total of 31 shots on goal and successfully converted six into scores, resulting in an outstanding shooting percentage of roughly 19 percent for this match-up. Their offensive efforts were complemented by eight assists and two powerplay opportunities, one of which they capitalized on to score.

Defensively, Calgary was just as formidable; they blocked 16 shots and recorded nine takeaways throughout the game. Despite winning only around 40 percent of faceoffs taken (18 out of 45), this did not hinder their ability to maintain control and keep pressure on Seattle.

Goaltending also played a crucial role in securing this win for Calgary with a save percentage near 85 percent; stopping approximately 17 out of 20 shots faced from Seattle's offense.

On Seattle's side, despite being outplayed overall, there were notable efforts including three goals scored from twenty shots taken – reflecting a shooting percentage close to fifteen percent – and twelve takeaways indicating moments where they effectively disrupted Calgary’s playmaking attempts.

As fans look forward to more action-packed games from their team, attention now turns towards an upcoming contest for The Calgary Flames who will be hosting Nashville Predators at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary. This next match is scheduled for November eighth at seven PM local time (nine PM Eastern Time). Fans can catch all live-action broadcasted nationally via ESPN+ or locally through BSSO channel six hundred forty-six dash one.
