Hurricanes Set to Unleash Storm on Coyotes at Mullett Arena

Looking back at their recent performance on December 24th against the New York Islanders, despite a loss with 4 points to the Islanders' 5, there's a silver lining that can't be ignored. The Hurricanes demonstrated remarkable resilience in powerplay situations. With two goals scored out of four opportunities and an impressive shooting percentage of 10 percent during powerplays, it's clear that when they have the man advantage, they know how to capitalize.

However, one area where CAR needs improvement is in faceoff win percentage. At only 48 percent against the Islanders and even lower in previous games like their December 20th matchup with Vegas Golden Knights where they won but had a faceoff win rate of just 43 percent – this could be crucial against ARI who might exploit any weakness.

The Hurricanes also need to tighten up defensively; while their goaltending has been solid with save percentages consistently hitting perfect marks during even strength play, they've given away too many shots – something that could prove costly if not addressed.

On offense though, CAR shines bright. Their shooting accuracy stands out as one of their deadliest weapons. In contrast with ARI's more conservative approach which may rely heavily on defense rather than offensive firepower – this game could very well be decided by who takes control early and maintains pressure throughout all three periods.
