Second Period

In the second period, Carolina found some momentum as they scored their first goal during a powerplay opportunity. Third Period

The third period proved decisive as Florida unleashed an offensive barrage that resulted in five goals against Carolina's defense. Despite Pyotr Kochetkov's efforts in goalkeeping with three shorthanded saves and two on powerplays, he couldn't hold back Florida's relentless attack which capitalized on even-strength opportunities.

Carolina’s players like Logan Stankoven showed resilience by contributing significantly with two points from one goal and an assist but it wasn't enough to turn around their fortunes against Florida’s strong performance led by Niko Mikkola and Aleksander Barkov who were pivotal for their team’s success.
