Third Period

The final period saw an explosive display from Carolina as they added three more goals to secure their win. Charles Alexis Legault stood out defensively while also contributing offensively alongside Svechnikov and Kotkaniemi. Despite Buffalo's efforts to close the gap with two late goals of their own, it wasn't enough against Carolina's relentless attack.

In terms of individual performances for Carolina, Andrei Svechnikov was exceptional with 2 points from a goal and an assist while maintaining a plus-minus rating of +1. Jesperi Kotkaniemi also impressed by matching these stats and playing crucial minutes that helped tilt possession in favor of his team.

For Buffalo, despite scoring three times throughout different periods courtesy of even-strength plays primarily led by Rasmus Dahlin’s defensive efforts combined with offensive pushes from teammates like Tage Thompson; they couldn't overcome defensive lapses which allowed six goals against them overall – highlighting areas needing improvement moving forward into future contests such as faceoff efficiency where they lagged behind slightly compared against opponents’ higher success rate (52 percent).
