First Period


The opening period set an early tone for the Hurricanes as they took control with a goal from Sebastian Aho. His performance was pivotal throughout, contributing significantly to his team's success. The Canes managed to outshoot the Preds by a significant margin, showcasing their offensive prowess.


Second Period


Despite several attempts from both sides, neither team managed to find the back of the net in this period. Third Period


The final period was where things truly heated up for Carolina. They scored three more goals, including one on a power play opportunity that highlighted their special teams' effectiveness. Seth Jarvis added another goal to his tally during this surge, further cementing his role as an emerging talent for the Canes.


On defense, Kochetkov continued his stellar performance by saving 25 shots overall and allowing only one goal throughout the match. His efforts earned him recognition as one of the game's stars alongside Aho.

For Nashville, Filip Forsberg was noted for his contributions but ultimately could not turn around his team's fortunes against a relentless Carolina side.
