Third Period


In a dramatic turn of events during the third period, Andrei Svechnikov assisted twice as he helped set up crucial plays that kept Carolina competitive. However, it was Evan Rodrigues of Florida who stole the spotlight by scoring twice and assisting once to propel his team forward. The Panthers managed to score three times in this period alone, turning up the heat against Carolina's defense.


Overtime and Shootout


As regulation time concluded with both teams tied at 3-3 after an intense third-period showdown, overtime ensued but did not yield any additional goals despite several attempts from both sides. In the shootout phase that followed, Florida emerged victorious by netting two successful shots compared to Carolina’s one.

Sebastian Aho stood out for his performance throughout this encounter while Brandon Bussi made significant contributions between the pipes with 38 saves out of 41 shots faced during regular playtime.
