Can the Chicago Blackhawks Glide Past the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center?

As the Chicago Blackhawks prepare to face off against the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center, fans are eager to see if their team can carry forward the momentum from their recent nail-biting shootout victory. The Blackhawks' performance on January 17 against the San Jose Sharks showcased a gritty determination that resulted in a 2-1 win, despite being outshot 38 to 25. This resilience could be pivotal when they meet the Sabres.

The Blackhawks' ability to capitalize on powerplay opportunities was evident as they scored one goal out of four chances, which could be a critical factor in their upcoming game. Their goaltending also stood strong with an impressive save percentage, turning away 37 shots and securing a win for Chicago.

On January 14, however, it was a different story as they faced off against the Dallas Stars. Despite putting up more shots than in their previous game (35), they were unable to convert these into goals effectively and ultimately fell short with only one goal scored during regulation time. The Stars capitalized on their powerplay chances scoring once out of three opportunities and won with three goals in the third period.

Earlier on January 12, while visiting Winnipeg Jets at Canada Life Centre, CHI displayed defensive prowess by blocking an impressive number of shots (27) but struggled offensively scoring just once from 21 attempts. They managed an even faceoff win percentage but couldn't prevent a loss with two goals conceded in the third period.

Looking ahead to their encounter with BUF, CHI must focus on maintaining strong defense while improving faceoff percentages which have been inconsistent across past games. The ability of CHI's goaltenders to replicate recent performances will be crucial as well.

The upcoming clash promises excitement for fans who can catch all action live on NBCS-CHI or MSG-B channels depending upon their location. With puck drop scheduled for January 19th at KeyBank Center in Buffalo – will CHI's tenacity help them emerge victorious? Tune into NBCS-CHI channel number 665 or MSG-B channel number 635-1 at game time to find out!
