The momentum continued into the second period where they added four more goals to their tally. Despite not scoring in the third period, Chicago's defense held strong, limiting Dallas to just two goals throughout the game.


Taylor Hall emerged as a standout player for Chicago by netting three goals on three shots, achieving a perfect shooting percentage. His performance was complemented by Tyler Bertuzzi and Alec Martinez who contributed significantly with two assists and one assist respectively. Petr Mrazek's goaltending was another highlight for Chicago; he saved 25 out of 27 shots faced.

On the other side of the ice, Dallas struggled to find their rhythm despite managing to score once during power play opportunities out of four attempts. Their efforts were further hampered by giving away possession twenty times and failing to capitalize on faceoffs where they won only 33 out of 52 attempts.

The stars of the game were undoubtedly from Chicago; Taylor Hall took center stage followed closely by Tyler Bertuzzi and Louis Crevier. Hall's hat-trick was pivotal in securing victory for his team while Bertuzzi’s playmaking abilities enabled crucial goals that extended their lead.
