Second Period

Third Period

In what became a defensive battle during the final stretch, both teams struggled to find additional scoring opportunities. The Hawks' defense held firm but could not break through Minnesota's resilient goaltending efforts led by strong saves that kept them at bay.

Despite outshooting their opponents with 28 shots compared to Minnesota's 27, Chicago couldn't convert these chances into more goals due largely due to missed opportunities on powerplays where they failed to capitalize across four attempts without success.
