First Period


The opening period saw both teams testing each other's defenses. The Blackhawks managed to find the net once, with Connor Bedard making an impact early on by scoring and assisting another goal later in the game. Third Period


As tensions rose entering into this decisive period, CBJ sealed their victory by adding another goal while maintaining strong defensive plays that kept Chicago scoreless during these crucial moments. Zach Werenski also made notable contributions for Columbus alongside Coyle’s standout performance which earned him first star honors post-game.
