First period


The Chicago Blackhawks and the Minnesota Wild opened with a 3-1 Minnesota edge in first-period scoring.

The Hawks finished with 26 shots and 9 hits in the game, while the Wild recorded 23 hits.


Second period

Third period


The Hawks added 1 goal in the third period as Connor Bedard posted 2 assists with 4 shots and a plus 2.


Spencer Knight made 33 saves on 37 shots against and took the overtime loss.


The Wild won 58 percent of faceoffs compared with 42 percent for the Hawks, and Minnesota finished with 13 giveaways to Chicago’s 16.


Overtime


The Wild ended the game with an overtime goal after taking 5 overtime shots, while the Hawks recorded 1 overtime shot.
