The Seattle Kraken fought back valiantly after falling behind early on. They managed to put up one goal in each of the second and third periods but ultimately fell short despite outshooting Colorado by one shot overall. Jared McCann stood out for Seattle with his performance earning him recognition among one of three stars selected post-game.

Colorado's powerplay unit capitalized once out of three opportunities which proved essential for their win margin. Their ability to convert these chances into goals highlighted effective special teams' play which has been an area of focus this season.

Conversely, Seattle struggled with discipline accruing three penalties throughout this matchup which translated into additional challenges for them defensively as they had to fend off more powerplay opportunities than they could generate themselves.
