Valeri Nichushkin led the charge with an impressive performance, scoring three goals and adding an assist, making him one of the standout players of the game. Nathan MacKinnon also made significant contributions with two goals, showcasing his skill and playing a pivotal role in securing victory for his team.

The team's powerplay unit capitalized on one of their three opportunities to score, highlighting effective special teams play. Additionally, two empty-net goals sealed their win late in the game. Maple Leafs' Efforts Fall Short
