First Period


The opening period saw an energetic start from both sides. The Avs managed to put one goal on the board thanks to their aggressive playstyle and strategic puck movement. However, it was the B’s who took control early with two goals, setting a challenging pace for Colorado.


Second Period


As the second period unfolded, neither team managed to find the back of the net despite numerous attempts. The Burgundy and Blue displayed solid defensive tactics but struggled with giveaways that prevented them from capitalizing on scoring opportunities.

Third Period


In a bid to close the gap in this tightly contested matchup, Nathan MacKinnon stepped up for Colorado with an assist that led to their second goal of the game during even strength play. The Avs' relentless pressure kept fans on edge as they sought an equalizer but were ultimately held at bay by Boston’s formidable defense and goaltending prowess.


Despite outshooting their opponents with 33 shots compared to Boston's 19, Colorado couldn't convert enough chances into goals. Goalie Scott Wedgewood made crucial saves throughout but faced difficulty against three successful strikes by Boston.
