Avalanche's Effort Falls Short as Senators Ride Third Period Wave

First Period


The opening period saw both teams locked in a defensive battle, with neither side able to find the back of the net. The Avalanche managed to outshoot their opponents but couldn't capitalize on their opportunities. Cale Makar and Nathan MacKinnon were active on the ice, contributing significantly to Colorado's offensive pressure.
