On defense and between the pipes, Elvis Merzlikins faced a barrage of shots from Winnipeg's aggressive offense. He made an impressive 38 saves out of 44 shots against him throughout the night. Despite this valiant effort in goalkeeping, it wasn't enough to hold back Winnipeg's potent attack led by Nikolaj Ehlers who earned himself a star player recognition for his performance.
