First Period

The third period turned into an offensive showcase for CBJ as they netted four more goals against Minnesota's defense. Boone Jenner and Adam Fantilli were key contributors during this scoring spree, each adding crucial points to secure their team's victory. Despite Matt Boldy's efforts for Minnesota—earning him third star honors—the Wild could only manage two more goals before time expired.


In terms of goaltending performance throughout this encounter, Elvis Merzlikins made an impressive 48 saves out of 52 shots faced—a testament to his resilience under pressure.
