Even strength play also saw strong performance from the Stars with four goals coming from an even playing field.

Defensively, the team blocked a total of 27 shots and recorded eight takeaways, reflecting their ability to disrupt Colorado's offensive flow. They scored four goals from their own tally of shots which stood at thirty-eight but only managed one goal on two powerplay opportunities.

The faceoff circle saw both teams fairly evenly matched overall; however, it is worth noting that Dallas won fifty-eight percent compared to forty-two percent by Colorado in this crucial aspect that often dictates possession and control within games.
