First Period


The first period saw an explosive start from both teams, but it was Edmonton who took control early on. The Oilers netted three goals in this period, setting a strong foundation for their victory. Connor McDavid's presence was felt as he contributed significantly to his team's offensive efforts. Meanwhile, Jason Robertson managed to keep Dallas competitive by scoring one goal for the Green and Gold.


Second Period


In the second period, both teams tightened their defenses. The Stars attempted to close in on Edmonton's lead but could only add one more goal to their tally through Roope Hintz's precise shot during a powerplay opportunity. Despite Dallas' efforts, Leon Draisaitl extended Edmonton’s advantage by adding another goal for his team.

Third Period


As they entered the third period trailing behind, Dallas pushed hard to turn things around but struggled against Edmonton’s resilient defense and effective goaltending by Stuart Skinner. Jason Robertson added another point for Dallas; however, it wasn't enough as Edmonton sealed their victory with two additional goals including an empty-netter towards game-end.


Dallas’ performance throughout this series showcased moments of brilliance yet fell short against an aggressive and well-coordinated opponent like Edmonton who capitalized on key opportunities effectively throughout each matchup played between these two formidable teams during Western Conference Finals showdown held at American Airlines Center arena located within city limits area known locally simply referred colloquially often times just called "Big D".
