First Period


The opening period saw both teams locked in a defensive battle, with neither side able to break through and find the back of the net. The Stars managed to outshoot their opponents with 34 shots compared to the Blues' 15, showcasing their offensive pressure early on.


Second Period


As play resumed in the second period, Mavrik Bourque from Dallas made his mark by scoring an even-strength goal that put his team ahead.
