From the opening faceoff at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan, it was clear that the Red Wings were on their game. The home team quickly established dominance by netting three goals in the first period alone. The scoring continued into the second period where they added another goal to their tally. The third period saw no additional scoring from either side but maintained an intense pace as both teams fought hard until the final buzzer.

The Red Wings' goaltender delivered an impeccable performance with a save percentage of 100 percent after stopping all 16 shots faced throughout the game. This shutout contributed significantly to Detroit's victory while also highlighting their defensive capabilities as they blocked a total of 20 shots from reaching their netminder.

Offensively, Detroit was led by standout performances from several players who contributed to their four-goal total. Their shooting accuracy was evident as they achieved a shooting percentage of approximately 14 percent on their way to securing this win. A key factor in this offensive outburst was their success on power plays; they capitalized once during four opportunities which proved crucial in building momentum early on.

The New Jersey Devils struggled to find any rhythm offensively against such staunch defense and goaltending. They managed only 16 shots throughout all three periods combined and failed to convert any power play opportunities presented to them during two chances.

As for faceoffs, both teams ended up evenly matched with each winning half of them at exactly fifty percent success rate for both sides – demonstrating how closely contested some aspects of this match were despite what the scoreboard suggested.

Looking ahead for fans eager to follow more action from The Detroit Red Wings: Their next challenge will be an away game against Boston Bruins at TD Garden scheduled for November 24th at 1 PM Eastern Time.
