Game Highlights

The game kicked off with an energetic start from the Detroit Red Wings, netting two goals in the first period. However, they were unable to maintain this momentum into the second period where no additional goals were scored by them. The third period saw them add one more goal to their tally but it wasn't enough to secure victory. On the other hand, the Ottawa Senators remained goalless in both the first and second periods but made a remarkable comeback by scoring three goals in the third period and clinching victory with an overtime goal.

Marco Kasper emerged as one of Detroit's standout performers by scoring two crucial goals for his team. His shooting accuracy was impressive, finding success on 50 percent of his attempts on goal. Additionally, Olli Maatta contributed significantly with two assists and maintaining a positive plus-minus rating throughout his time on ice.
