Star Performances


Dylan Larkin stood out for Detroit by scoring their only goal and showcasing his leadership on ice with his performance being one among many attempts to rally his team towards victory. Lucas Raymond also contributed significantly with an assist and five shots on goal demonstrating his critical role in creating scoring opportunities for Detroit.


On defense and goaltending fronts, Cam Talbot made notable contributions despite facing defeat; he saved 21 out of 23 shots against him showing resilience under pressure especially during shorthanded situations where he prevented any goals despite two getting past him overall.

For Ottawa Senators Linus Ullmark's goaltending was exceptional saving 48 out of 49 shots making him one among three stars awarded post-game alongside teammates Dylan Cozens and David Perron who were instrumental in securing victory through crucial plays including power play goals that ultimately decided the outcome.
