Tom Wilson led from the front for Washington, earning him one of the stars of this encounter due to his pivotal role in turning around his team’s fortunes alongside Dylan Strome and Pierre-Luc Dubois who also received star recognitions for their performances.


Despite facing fewer shots than Detroit (26), Washington capitalized on their opportunities more efficiently which is reflected in their higher shooting percentage at fifteen percent compared to Detroit’s four percent.
